FAQs

Frequently asked questions.

Why is capability building critical in the mining industry?

Mining is changing fast in terms of technology deployed. The conventional training approaches have limited effectiveness, especially with large, diversified and remote workforce - neccessiating newer and more effective ways.

How does capability building improve safety performance?

Introduction of heavy and technologically advanced machinery and work processes makes it imperative to train the workers effectively and quickly. Failing to do so often result in serious safety and productivity risks.

Can capability building support digital transformation in mining?

Yes. Workforce capability is essential for successfully adopting new technologies, automation and data-driven operations.

How do you measure capability development in mining?

Through operational performance, safety metrics, leadership effectiveness, productivity improvements and behavioural observations.
